Snow is here :)
The snow has finally arrived in full force, meaning winter has arrived :P I did enjoy afternoon classes off yesterday, a chance to catch up on some homework, and relax for a while : )
I got to play Harvest Moon last night, which is a game I really enjoy. You are this little guy, and you inherit your father's farm, and you have to grow vegetables, raise animals (chickens, sheep, cows), and woo ladies in town. If you bring girls certain gifts; for example a girl named Anne likes sheep wool, a girl name Potpourri likes flowers and cakes, they start to like you more and more until eventually you can marry one. It's super awesome! Also it feels good to run an imaginary farm: harvesting, watering, hoeing, it's a fun game : ) My girlfriend also loves the game, and is on her third year in the game and has ALL the awesome stuff (she married the Elli, I know she likes eggs and milk).
I'm sooo glad it's near the end of the semester :) Taxes and Auditing were pretty tough this semester, especially together! Wooofah, I am just glad they are almost over : ) I'm also excited for vacation, the chance to unwind, relax, snuggle with my girlfriend, and grow a beard. My friends and I are participating in Manuary, an event which involves not shaving over X-mas break, just for fun : ) I also plan to work at a grocery store, just for a little extra moneys and busy-ness.
I am also excited for this weekend : ) I miss my girlfriend a lot during the week, so I can't wait to see her :D She makes me happy : )THES is putting on "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" this weekend, though I may be going to Farmington so I may miss it :P I have seen the runthrough's though, and all the hard work my friends have been putting in to it, and I bet it shall be awesome :D
I feel it may be time for this gentlemen to go get some lunchin' :D Have a great day, thanks for reading :D

MEGA MAN!
It's been awhile since my last blog, it's getting to be that busy time of year; projects being due, tests are coming up, group activities are launching, busy busy busy :) I like it though, it's always fun to be doing things, and it makes your down time seem so valuable. Like last night I just chilled on my bed and read Bleach (a manga I like) and talked to my girlfriend :) It was great, to just chillout :D
Tonight is gonna be awesome, because we have dodgeball practice! Woooooooo! We have a game on Thursday vs. Blackout, who we have never played before. We are trying a new offense/defense system tonight, that I hope will clear up confusion : ) This is the only week we have only one game, the next few weeks we have two games a week, and then the week before Thanksgiving break we have 3 games, Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday :P
I just went out in the admissions office and chatted for like 20 minutes, I got started talking about my girlfriend, and just couldn't stop :) She is soo wonderful, she makes my heart sing :)
I don't have much homework this week, simply because I have some tests and projects coming up :P I believe in meeeee! It's gonna be a crazy next month though, with dodgeball, THES, EAG, CETC, classes, projects, and finals! WOooooo!
I got to see Rob Callahan's TV show "Professor Purple's Storytime" this weekend, and it was awesome! He told the story of Little Tumbo, an elephant learning to trumpet. Tumbo gets caught by hunters, but is saved by a wise old man and his son. It was pretty cool, and Mr. Callahan is a great storyteller :D Along with his assistant Bananas, of course : )
I hope you have a great day, and thanks for reading :D

Happy Almost Halloween : )
Dodgeball season is officially underway! Team Charizard woooo! I am really excited, I love being active with my friends, throwing, bobbin', weaving, catching, yelling when I can't catch, it's always a fun time :D
I'm also super excited for Halloween weekend :D! I am going to see my girlfriend (yay :D) this weekend, for a Halloween weekend o' fun! I believe she is being a lumberjack for halloween; she crocheted a furry beard to wear, it looks awesome : )
I got an awesome grade on a paper the other day, which made me happy! My friend and I were partners on this 15 page paper we had to write about Ethics and the Food Supply, it was some crazy researching. GMO foods are sooo bad for you - did you know that rats fed GMO corn have smaller kidneys and a different blood composition than rats fed normal corn? Pretty crazy stuff :S
My roommate and I are checking out older NES games; they all pretty much rocked. The thing I love most about NES games is their insane difficulty levels, meaning you have to play a game for hours just to learn how to beat something. When you beat an NES game though, you feel great, it's that good sense of triumph and self-awesomeness : )
Thank you for reading : ) I hope you have a great day!

Sleepy Pandas
I am sleepy today, wooosh :S I was up a little later than usual last night, but it's ok cause I was talking to my ladyfriend on the phone :D Lost track of time though :P I did end up sleeping pretty well; I had some wierd dreams.
I had a dream my girlfriend and I lived together, and she was trying to get my attention but I was playing a video game I think; she got upset and went to go hang out with a friend, and I volunteered to walk the dogs (to try and make up for it :D) Then the dogs got away, so I spent some of the dream looking for them, and hanging out with my Aunt and some of my friends. Dreams are soo wierd sometimes :P I also dreamt that I shadowed my cousin to this other school, that was really dirty :S It was strangeness, but it was cool to see my cousin; she lives in California, so I don't see her much :)
It's almost time for Dodgeball season again this year! Woooo :D I may have tio sit out of the first couple of games, due to my eye injury. The other day my friend Scott and I were playing kickball with some friends, and I ran left and he ran right to try and catch the ball and WAMMY we hit. We both had to go to the hospital to get stitches, it was a rough collision :P I just don't want my cut to heal, and then play dodgeball and have it hit, because that would huuuurt.
I can't wait for this weekend :D My girlfriend is coming Friday and I can't wait to see her :D Friday night is the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life here on campus! I am hopefully going to help in the event, it's hasn't been working out because the planning meetings are all times I have class :( I am meeting the awesome lady in charge Thursday, to see what I can help out with :) It's going to be a blasty-blast :D
Me and my roommate are currently discussing pokemon strategy, Garchomp, Metagross, Zapdos, etc. I soemtimes refer to my roommate as my "Senior Analyst", because he is one smart cookie :D
I may have ust discovered some heartbreaking news: the pokemon tournament next year, which I am soooo excited about going to, may have changed it's rules and regulations to inculde Uber pokemon. Uber pokemon are legendary pokemon with stats way above the average pokemon (for example, stat totals of 680 compared to a normal 525). I feel that this is going to drastically affect tournament play: it's like if everyone in America drove little smart cars, we would all feel safe. Since some people drive SUV's, however, driving a smart car doesn't seem like a good idea because if someone in an SUV hits you it will hurt, so in order to protect yourself you buy a bigger car. Introducing Ubers into gameplay is like introducing SUV's into a smart car society: if you don't bring an Uber to play now, all the other people have a giant advantage over you :S Merrr.... I hope that this isn't the case :S I may not go in my smart car to the land of SUV's, even though the land is good :)
It's the.. eye of the tiger it's the thrill of the fight! Rising up to the challenge of our rivaaaals :D Thank you for reading (and for voting on my poll, hoorrray Pineapple Pizza :D) I hope you have a great day :)

Don't Stop Believiiiing
You know what I love? When you have a nice song that you actually enjoy stuck in your head. It seems that a majority of the time, when a song is stuck in your head, it's a song you want OUT of your head. I bring this up because I have a song in my brain by Niramon (a youtuber) call "Oh Pokemon what Happened to you?" It's a song about old school pokemon, and all the good times he had playing it. Those were indeed some great games, and I also love the new ones :D
I found out a friend of mine is a master of the keyboardial arts : ) I went over to his room the other night to study together for a test, and we just kinda jammed on his keyboard for awhile, and he was bustin' out Journey songs, some Mozart, Mario tunes, it was amazing. He is a great fellow, I hope we both did well on that Cost Accounting test :D It was a toughie though, I was like...???... on a couple, which isn't the best feeling :P I'm just hoping for the best :)
I am excited for this four day Columbus weekend! I am trying to work on my homework tonight (I have a large Auditing project due next Thursday) so that I don't have to worry about it this weekend : ) My girlfriend and I are going home, to visit our families, get new tires, and help my grandma with moving a few items : ) I miss my family, and I miss my girlfriend's family, they are all in my heart :D
MEGADAMEGADAMEGAMAAAN hahaha, there is the video online called Mega Man with lyrics, and it's an oldschool mega man game and soundtrack, with a gentleman singing along with the tunes. It makes me happy :D
I think I may also grab my NES when I am home, I just found an awesome thing only on home to make them work better (it's an awesome document about taking it apart, and bending the connector pins). I love NES games, so I am excited :D
Thank you for reading, I hope you have a great day :D

Woo Yeah Meetings
I always get pumped for the end of the week, for many reasons. 1. Wednesdays (yesterday) was the Environmental Awareness Group meeting, woo yeah 2. Today, Thursday, is the THES Drama Club meeting, shoop de woop 3. Friday is the Contemporary Entertainment and Technology Club meeting shoodly wop wop and 4. I get to see my girlfriend on Friday :D Yayyy! Also today is the meeting of the Alpha Chi honors society, which is pretty cool :D
I have a busy day today! Lots of meetings, classes, work, and then later playing some Dungeons and Dragons with my friends :D Later tonight I have to meet with my friend Falco to do some homework; he's one smart gentlemen.
There is some delicious looking fudge in the admissions office, I think I may go grab some : ) OOhh, turns out it is a peanut butter cookie, with lots of chocolate on top. Yummmm. :D Thank you CJ!
Last night my friends and I got together and played Ultimate Frisbee, and then yesterday we all played some Kickball! It was a good time, it was hard to score because we were playing inside the athletic center, and we said off the wall and of the net catches counted as outs; and if the ball hit one of the dividing curtains it would just slowly squish it's way down, so we had lots of outs :P Everytime someone kicked it hard enough that it hit the wall and bounced it usually made it a pretty tricky shot; my friend Lucas kicked a homerun, he is a kickball wizard : )
I gots to go and grab me some delicious lunch! The other day they had Pineapple Pizze (my favorite) so we'll see what they have for today :D
Thanks for reading, I hope you have a great day! :D

I am excited today because the shoes I ordered offline should be coming soon! It's just so hard to wait, knowing they are on their way! I purchases some chocolate colored converse low tops : ) My current ones are blue, but they have fallen apart and have a few holes due to wear, tear, and kickball : )
I had a great weekend; I went and visited my girlfriend, and we had a super relaxing and nice weekend : ) We just watched movies and tv, and ate lots of Santitas corn chips and guacomole (absolutely amazing) We went to watch the Gerard Butler movie "Gamer". I had mixed feelings, as all the parts with Gerard Butler were epic, and all the parts without him were creepy, and wierd :S It was a deep movie about the future, and society, and mind control. Pretty heavy stuff :P Gerard Butler was the absolute man though, which made the movie great : )
I am looking forward to this week; I have a test on Wednesday but I feel pretty prepared for it. It's an Accounting and Financial Information Systems test, so it's all just problems using Quickbooks, and I've been doing all the chapters and homework with my friend, and I feel that it's great practice : )
I'm excited for my group meetings this week : ) EAG on Wednesday, THES on Thursday, and CETC on Friday! Busy busy, but it's a lot of fun and the groups are pretty active and filled with great people :D
Thank you for reading, if you can please vote on my poll (two days left!). I feel the "FavoriteNintendo 64 Video Game" is a tough question, in need of some votes :D
I hope you have a great day!

Wooo Blogging
So far the semester is going great : ) Being an Orientation Leader was a super blast; I loved the team I worked with, I felt super proud of what we accomplished, and Orientation Weekend was soooo fun! It was great meeting the first year students and helping them unpack. I saw a friend of mine who I didn't know was coming here, he suprised me and I was like HEEEY!!!! I'm glad he is coming here, it's super cool.
It's good to be back at school among my friends and activities. I miss my girlfriend a lot, but I get to see her almost every weekend, which helps : ) My friends and I have been pretty active lately; after dinner some nights we have been playing kickball, or wiffleball, or dodgeball. It's been super fun. I discovered my friend Luke is an absolutely amazing kickball player; we call him Luke "The Boot". He scared me once, I was running to third and he just caught the ball and came running straight at me. His eyes were ablaze with kickball fury, and I just froze in place and he tagged me. It was a terrifying (is that spelled right?) experiece, but it was funny :)
School is going well this semester; I have a pretty heavy course load, so I am just digging in my heels and trying my best this semester :) I had an interview for a spring intership Monday (I got to wear my nice purple tie), and the guy I interviewed with was really nice. He was pretty much like "Hey, what hours can you work next spring? Looking forward to working with you!" It was super cool : )
Had a great trip the other night down to the Boston Museum of Science. My friend and I sat way in the back of the bus and played Pokemon the entire ride; it was awesome : ) The Museum as fantastic! I got to go to the Omni Theater for the first time: blew my mind! It was soooo big, and sooo cool! I watched a video on skydiving and parachuting, it as pretty intense on a 180 degree screen :P
I can't wait to see my girlfriend this weekend, I miss her quite terribly :P It's also the Common Ground Fair this weekend! It's a fair that's all about like organic foods, sustainable living, and cool earth friendly crafts. I'm sooo excited to have organic fries and ketchup! It was sooo good!
I am kind of a super geek, and I am excited because next year there is a Pokemon Video Game Tournament. I super want to go, so I have been been playing pokemon a lot this year (330 hours since April) getting ready. I am also excited because I just bought new shoes offline :) They are chocolate brown converse, and they should be here either Saturday or like Monday-Tuesday, which is good because I blew out my sneakers playing Kickball/Dodgeball :P
I helped my friend Deanna make a video last night, in which she was making a love song music video, with her stuffed bear Ted-Rich. In one of the shots I am just lying on the ground in the back, because I meant to go run into the background to dance, but I tripped and hurt myself, so I was just laying in the parking lot like "Ouch" while my friend is dancing with Ted-Rich. Ted-Rich's full name is.... Theodore Richard.. Michael maybe.. something.. he has a super long cool name :) I'll have to ask Deanna!
Thank you for reading my blog, I hope you have a great day : ) !

Wierd Weather and Boy Meets World
Today has been a wonderful day on campus; it rained yesterday so everything is all pretty and nourished, flowers are sprouting, and people are outside and happy. Today the weather mircaulously changed; this morning it was overcast and wet and chilly (I was thinking Nap time later today) and now the sun is shining and it's beautiful out. Wierd, but wonderful : )
At lunch today my friends and I had the usual bout of TV nastalgia and were talking about Boy Meets World for awhile during lunch. Remember Mr. Feeny and all his teachings and wisdom? Or how Cory would say "underpants" and the best times? Topanga, Shawn (with gorgeous hair and without), Angela, Eric, Cory, even Minkus were all brought up and discussed with forgotten fondness. When the Boy Meets World box set comes out on DVD, it shall be miiiiine : )
We also discussed Will Smith, and the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The episode where Phil turns out to be an amazing pool player, along with his pool stick "Lucille". Good times, TV, good times. I also learned that Mr. Feeny is the voice of KIT from Night Rider; is there no end to his epicness?
This is been an incredibly busy week, meetings for OL, Energy Conservation Committee, The American Cancer Society Relay for Life Preplanning meeting, THES runthroughs every night, wheew. I love being busy though, so this has been an amazing week :D I am excited for next week, some friends and I are going to visit Augusta to go to a video game store, to buy some new games :D
It's been an amazing week, and I hope you are having an amazing day :D

Hooooray Spring :D
I realized I don't post to my blog very often : P I really enjoy running the poll in the top right hand corner, it's my favorite part :D Last week, for "Who is the coolest", the poll came in with a three way tie between Captain Picard, Yoda, and Wayne & Garth. It was a close race, and it was definately a tough choice between our epic candidates. Thanks to all who voted, I will post a new poll today :D
Sooo hmmm.. what to blog about today... hmmmmm. First of all, it is WONDERFUL outside today, nice and sunny and warmish :) I'm so happy it's spring :D
The next two weeks are going to be a little crazy : P Alpha Chi Dinner on Thursday, I have to schedule my classes for next semester Thursday as well, as well as daily THES meetings to prepare for our presentation of "The Lorax" next Saturday (Waterville Public Library :D!). Orientation Leader meetings start this Friday, which I am super excited about. Orientation Leaders get to lead Freshman Orientation, which is going to be awesome :D
I'm excited for class today, we may potentially be going to see a solar retrofitted house! It has solar panels, passive solar heating, and a wood chip boiler, along with many other cool things :D
I had an amazing weekend, my lovely ladyfriend came over; Saturday night we made cookies (from a tube; it was my girlfriend's first time from a tube, she always has home made them). We also drank lemonade, which was delicious.
I am excited for summer :D I have a wonderful summer job working at the local grocery store ;) And DownEast Maine is soooo beautiful in the summer :D
Thanks for reading, have a great day :D!

Vacation WOO :D
I am pumped because vacation starts tomorrow :D I am going to go visit my lovely ladyfriend for the weekend and then go home for a week of relaxing :D
I am excited to see my girlfriend, family, and old friends this break. One of my best friends is home this vacation, and I can't wait to see her! Also I miss some of my super old friends (from like 7th grade) so I am excited to see them :)
Life has been awesome as of late, classes are fun, the weather is amazing :D I have been playing Mario Party 3 with my friends a lot lately, which makes me happy :D
Thanks for reading, I hope you have a wonderful day :D

I got to see my lovely girlfriend this weekend; we went to an amazing speaker on global warming talking about this amazing event http://www.350.org/ :) I had a wonderful weekend relaxing with my beautiful ladyfriend, and we watched Slumdog Millionaire on sunday (It was soooo good).
My roommate isn't feeling well, I hope he feels better :D
Today the THES President and I are going shopping for our production of "The Lorax" later this spring! We need to buy some basic props set items (paint, posterboard, etc), and hopefully also look for costumes; we need to find some big green Once-ler gloves :)
Also this week some exciting stuff is going down on campus; this friday the "Blizzard of Bucks" event is coming to Thomas College. This is the thing I used to see on TV when I was little, of the person inside that big tube and money is just blowing around; it looks pretty awesome :) I am definitely gonna go and play some games :) It's gonna be awesome :D Also this weekend "Yes, Man" will be playing, so I'm also excited for that :)

Snowdays and Dodgeball Games : )
I'm also excited because on Tuesday we had our championship intramural dodgeball game. Team Charizard won :D It was a crazy intense game, they won the first one, then we won, then them, then us, so it was 2 - 2 for the final game. We won the last one; Yay Team Charizard :D It was an awesome fun season, and we won free intramural T shirts (the coveted champion T-shirts).
I'm also excited because my girlfriend is coming to visit this weekend, which always makes me happy : ) Last weekend my girlfriend and I attended the CAB Coffeehouse event Marie Moreshead. She was a wonderful musician, also Starbucks coffee, donuts, and treats were available too (my girlfriend loves strabucks coffee :D). It was a wonderful time : )
Also John Kerry (the director of the Maine Energy plan) came to Thomas College on Tuesday night, which was exciting and informative. This has been a pretty exciting week :D
Thanks for reading; I hope you are having a great day :D

I got to talk to my friend Jake this morning on AOL; this is exciting because he is in Africa this year! It's pretty cool to hear all his stories, about elephants and climbing mountains; sounds like he is having some awesome life experience. We actually spent most of the morning discussing Pokemon :P
Speaking of Pokemon, Team Charizard won it's dodgeball game last night :D The Championship game is next Tuesday!
I am excited for tonight: my friend and I are going to Augusta to buy copies of "The Lorax" for the play we are putting on this semester :D I also am hoping to go to Kohl's and buy some new sneakers (mine have seen far better days), so I'm pretty pumped :D I love new shoes :)
I am also happy that my poll was answered this week :D People have mixed feelings about favoirte Ninja Turtles it seems, with 33% each for Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael. Sadly, no votes for Donatello (my personal favorite).
I think my girlfriend is going to enjoy one of our campus events this weekend; the CAB Coffeehouse series is presenting a singer, and there is going to be free starbucks coffee and donuts. My girlfriend loves starbuck's coffee, so I can't wait to tell her this weekend :D I'm keeping it a suprise, unless she read's this blog....
I had a strange dream with my Business Law teacher in it the other night: I was going to court, and I asked him to be my defense attorney. He told me to cook as much spaghetti as I could, to help win over the jury : ) It was a pretty wily tactic Mr. Geller, though I can't remember if it worked out :P
I hope you have a great day and thanks for reading :D

Snuggle Levels are High : )
We decided to just chillax this weekend: ordered some chinese and Papa John's and just kicked it and snuggled : ) We watched a few episodes of The Office on DVD that my friend down the hall let me borrow; he's a good dude. She also accompanied me to our Team Charizard dodgeball practice! It was fun : ) I got her some classical music CD's for her birthday from Bull Moose while she went into Bath and Body Works. She loves classical music : )
I am excited for this week! Team Charizard has a game tomorrow night, which is always exciting! We have been practicing our Jail-guarding and our throwing at practices, and I feel we are always improving our skills : )
I am applying to be an Orientation Leader for next semester, it is an exciting oppurtunity! I have to fill out an application, and the question I am on now is "If you could be any color crayon, what would you be and why?" It's a pretty cool question; I would have to say purple : ) It's the coolest (Donatello the turtle wears Purple).
Thanks for reading! Have a great week : )

Yes Man or Mall Cop? Hmmmmm
I am super excited about this week; I have an Environmental Awareness Group Meeting tonight, which I am super looking forward to! Our President just returned from a study abroad in Germany, and she has all kinds of new ideas for programs this semester :D
I had a wonderful three day weekend, my girlfriend came over, we just relaxed and watched The Office on DVD. As always, three day weekends are pleasant, make the week seem so much nicer. Martin Luther King Jr = The Epic Win! Did anyone watch the Obama Inauguration? I heard it was exciting!
This week is also wonderful in that tomorrow is the weekly THES (Theatrical Horde of Entertaining Students) meeting, as well as Free Movie Night at Flagship Cinemas. We get to go watch a free movie as long as we show our Thomas ID's. It's pretty sweet, but I'm unsure as to what movie to watch: "The Yes Man" or "Paul Blart: Mall Cop". Hmmmm. A big group of my friends are going to see The Yes Man, Jim Carey is awesome.
THES is exciting this semester, it's our school's Drama Club, so we are hoping to put on a performance of a couple short one acts that we like. One that we selected involves a woman who eats so much candy, she begins to hallucinate the candy speaking to her. I want to try out for the role of "Mr. Goodbar" in that play :D Our other plays I must remain secret.....
Have a great day everyone, and thanks for reading!

Web Support = Cookies?!
I named this blog "A John of All Trades" because first off, my name is John. I feel I do a lot of different activities and live a varied life: I love my girlfriend, video games, hanging out with my friends, playing D&D, and working hard to do well in my studies. I participate in several activities on campus: I enjoy THES (Theatrical Horde of Entertaning Students, the school's drama club), The Environmental Awareness Group, and my friends and I are taking part in Intramural Dodgeball this semester (Go Team Charizard!).
Today is a special day for me, I was just invited to have free cookies! I work Web Support at Thomas College, and I was helping someone out with their webpage. They were very thankful, and offered me to swing by later this week for some cookies! Epic Win :D!
It's shaping up to be a nice day ahead: Classes from 2-4:30 (Personal Financial Planning, then Environmental Economics!). I'll probably go back to my room to play some Final Fantasy VIII, then go to dinner with my roommate and friends.
After dinner, I have to help my friend move some of his room around to unearth his Business Law book, which he has gracioulsy allowed me to borrow for this semester :D The bad news is it's in a box, behind two bureaus, upon which sits their huge flat screen TV...thing. It should be a fun exposition : )
Then I will probably do some homework, some class reading, and talk to my girlfriend online. Then it's off to bed for me, gotta get those 8 hours.
Thanks for reading, and welcome to my blog :D
